Higgins House
Central Florida Food, Wine and Beer Section
We offer exclusive and private beer, wine and mead tasting's some of which are made right here at the Higgins House. We also mix in commercial and micro-batch wines, beers and meads which we purchase from some of our favorite local stores. The managers of the Higgins House Victorian Bed and Breakfast thought we would share some of our favorite places
where we select our great food, wine, beer and cheeses. We spent many years
traveling the world on a quest to seek the best places to
find and enjoy these treasures. What we love most is
that after our long crusade, we discovered that much
of the best selections could be found right here in Central
Florida. Here is just a short list of our favorite local
places and homebrew experiences. Come back to this page soon to see the list
grow.

The Higgins House Victorian Inn always offers the best foods, wines and beers available to our special guests and visitors. Chef Kittie creates an extensive grocery list and has a staff travel all over the state to many different specialty stores so that we may in turn provide you with one of a kind entrees that will delight your taste sensations. When you are done dining in our Inn, we recommend you visit some of our Favorite Restaurants located throughout Central Florida. Many of them are walking distance from our Inn, but others are well worth the journey via auto. This list will definitely be growing weekly so be sure to check back often. Favorite Restaurant Guide.
Beer, Wine and Mead Competitions
Comments from Steve DellaSalas. As a Homebrewer, and Meadmaker, it's hard for me to separate my hobby from my careers. So in light of my mead, beer and wine passion, I have decided to add useful information to anyone interested in entering or attending in a homebrew / mead competition. The first one that comes to mind is the 10th Annual Meadllennium put on by the Central Florida Homebrewers on Saturday, January 27th 2007.
